On our drive home from Somerset, we decided to make a call into Wells and have a wander around the City and its famous cathedral. Being residents of Ely, another tiny cathedral city in the UK, we were keen to compare it. Being ever competitive of course, we wanted to see what the city that claimed it was smaller had going for it, over Ely. The answer was a lot.

I continued the weeks themes of damp and changeable conditions, combined with a particular focus on black and white photography. My family were extremely patient, as always, as we wandered around the outside the cathedral and I rushed from door to door and even fished some scenes to get people in and out of shots.

Wells is a beautiful place and is well worth the visit, both generally as well as with your camera. Below are some of my favourite shots from our brief stroll around and its somwhere I would love to return to with my camera again.
